Overview
I teach undergraduate and postgraduate classes in Social Enterprise, Management and Business, with a special focus on sustainability. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I hold current or have held previous appointments as External examiner at Nottingham, Regent's Business School, Royal Holloway, Salford Business School and Liverpool John Moores (Business ethics, sustainability, social enterprise and CSR areas)
In addition previous teaching and curriculum activities have included:
~ Programme Leader for three Sustainability Masters programmes at Queen's University Belfast (until Sept 2011).
- Postgraduate 10/20 credit modules: Sustainability related: Roots of Modern Environmentalism, Issues in Sustainability, Managing the 21stC Business, Environmental Communications, Managing the Urban Environment, Sustainable Consultancy Project. Other: Developing Skills for Business Leadership (CIPD accredited MA programme); Research methods for PG students teaching.
- Undergraduate modules on Business Management programme: Sustainability related - Level 3 Sustainable Management. Other - Level 3 Business Analysis (includes project work with external client organisations), Level 2 Principles of Management (Strategy/Marketing); Level 2 Managerial Behaviour (general management related).
